Plasma Biotal Ltd. and the Plasma Group are pleased to announce the launch of Plasma Biotal India Pvt. Ltd. – a new joint venture company with Indian medical device and orthopaedic manufacturer Bioradmedisys Pvt. Ltd.

Plasma Biotal will be supplying hydroxylapatite (HA) coatings for orthopaedic device manufacturers to the existing U.K. and International Quality standards and now very proudly under the ‘Make in India’ banner. Managing Director, Mr Jitendra Hegde, says “In this competitive era we are now well equipped with the Plasma Biotal India operation, and we’re in a position to satisfy the market need and fulfil the expectations of the orthopaedic market in India and International mid-tier market”

Plasma Biotal (UK) has been producing quality assured hydroxylapatite coatings for over 25 years and was one of the first UK companies to offer HA coatings to the medical device sector worldwide. Their proprietary process and extensive expertise will be available to the whole of India and the international mid-tier market from a brand new state of the art facility in Pune.

Hydroxylapatite coatings for cement less fixation have been clinically proven to facilitate osseointegration, providing a bioactive bone substitute environment for formation of strong and lasting bond with the patient’s natural bone.
